Companies looking for more profit opportunities might want to look into online video advertising. According to an article in TopSEOs’ website, written by Kristina Knight, consumers have a higher possibility of making a purchase after viewing videos online.

Burst Media reports that 70% of video viewers visited websites for information, or made purchases after watching videos online. About 24% of men and 22% of women answered that they took action after seeing an advertisement in the video. The genre most preferred by both sexes appeared to be comedy, though men preferred videos with sports content, and women liked those with educational content. All of these data appeared in a survey made recently.

"Web publishers seeking to attract larger audiences and increase dwell time could benefit from incorporating video content into their sites,” Burst Media Marketing Director Mark Kaefer said in the article in TopSEOs.com. "Moreover, (for) online video advertising is an effective way for brand marketers to align their messaging with content that draws highly-engaged, targeted audiences at scale."

Indeed, incorporating ads into videos is a good way to deliver the message to a specified group of target customers. Web publishers only need to know which group tends to watch which kind of videos, and homing on the right clients is almost a definite possibility. An incorporated ad, when done the right way and has the right combination of information and entertainment, is a big plus in convincing potential customers to make that purchase.
